Enyimba bid 13 players farewell


 Enyimba International FC on Wednesday released a list of 13 players who have left the club since the conclusion of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier League season, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.


The management of the People’s Elephant has expressed deep gratitude to the players for their dedication and contributions to the club, adding that their efforts played a vital role in the club’s journey and that they will always be remembered as valued members of the Enyimba family.


Goalkeeper Olurunleke Ojo topped the list that also comprised strikers Chijioke Mbaoma, Desmond Ojietefian, Chigozie Chilekwu, Ngomere Chisom, Anthony Okachi, Chibuike Nwaiwu, and James Orasonye.


Others are Chijioke Mbaoma, Ikenna Cooper, George Owen, MacBen Otika, Uche Collins, and Tochukwu Emmanuel

Enyimba International FC on Wednesday released a list of 13 players who have left the club since the conclusion of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier League season, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The Nwankwo Kanu-led management has also made some decent signings as the two-time CAF Champions League winners look to do better than their third-place finish last season.


These include Ismail Sarki, a striker who joined from Bendel Insurance; Ukadike Divine, a left back from Heartland; Ufere Chinedu, a midfielder from Sporting Lagos; Kalu Nweke, a midfielder from Rangers International of Enugu; and Moses Adukwu from Plateau United.


Others are Ani Chigozie from Coal City United, Abdullahi Zalli, goalkeeper from Doma United, Wasui Jimoh, a centre forward from Zesco United of Zambia, Odinaka Francis, a centre back from Lobi Stars, and Eze Chidera.
